Watercolour paper comes in three different types:

  • Cold press: this is a semi-rough surface that gives a charcoal or graphite drawing texture

  • Rough: this is as it sounds, rough. I typically only use this paper if I am painting with watercolours

  • Hot press: I use hot press paper most frequently, it is smooth and enables me to get a photorealistic finish with very fine details.

  • A3 29.7cm / 42cm

  • A2 42cm / 59.4cm

  • A1 59.4cm / 84.1cm

  • A0 upon request
